...oops, check out my last few days...

Sorry for the lack of blogging. I have been so busy with all sorts of stuff that I totally forgot to share...

It was my birthday last week and we had a visa appointment on the day. Woke up with coffe in bed and some present...my 2 favourite things in the world...

I was convinced I would get a visa as it was my birthday, but I was very very wrong. It turned out that there was no way for me to get a dependant visa and I could also not apply for my schengen visa as we didn't have tickets or the right appointment for that. Anyway, so I left there crying and decided to go out and get drunk (which I did and have no pics of that) So now we have to wait for Wollie's visa and then get tickets and then I will aplly for my extended schengen visa. Drama drama drama!

Anyway, the next day the girls from work decided that we should all do sinner at Ocean Basket. It was very nice, thanks girls.

Then, Debbie, Karen and Jess gave me a full body message voucher for my Bday, so on Sunday morning Jess and myself went to get pampered at the most amazing spa ever, The Serenity Thai Spa at Sunninghill Village Shopping Centre.

Then Debs joined us for some brunch and tea. It was nice, very very nice!!! Thanks girls!!!!!

...welcome to our life green green grass...

Wollie and me have spent the last few weekends fixing up our house for show day and Sunday was the big day. Our renovated house looked amazing, clean and beautiful and to celebrate the success of our first show day and our green green grass we had a sunny Monday lunchtime braai with our awesome friends.

Just look at the pretty green-ness in these pics, it makes my heart happy! Now we just have to hope and pray that people who come to show day, also fall in love with our grass and house, just like we did!

Thanks Debs for your photo skillz....

...cirque du soleil...

WOW! We went to watch the Cirque du Soleil last night at the Sundome and it was amazing. The stuff these guys do is breathtaking. We were totally speechless. Jessica is totally convinced she can do all the tricks and I think I need to set up a trail to see if she can! Me thinks not!
I couldn't take pictures as its not allowed, so I just used my good friend google to share the amazingness. I think I loved the 4 peeps, swinging from elasticated rope the most! (don't know if those would be trapeze artists or what...but they rocked!)

...show house...

Wollie and me have spent the last few weekends fixing up our house for show day this Sunday. Feels like all our spare time is consumed with tiles, paint, handy-andy, jik, brooms, sand, trees, carpets, dampseal etc....On Sunday, we literally cleaned the entire house from corner to corner, after the tiler was there on Saturday, it now looks amazingly clean and pretty and you can eat off the tiles. Then I saw this this morning and had a little chuckle.

Don't know if I agree cause our now, revamped, clean beautiful house is so very very nice and cosy. Let's hope someone falls in love with our little space this weekend.

...party ideas...

Seeing that Wollie and me will be leaving soon we have to start planning a HUGE-ass party! We were thinking of having it at George - Lee Sports club, cause there's a bar, you can sit outside and when we are all drunk we can play on the sports field. The only thing is, when Debbie, Karen and me went there on Wednesday I saw a bag rat and now I am not too sure about the venue. Ideas?

Anyway, this morning I was doing my daily blog read and I came across this awesome party! Everyone has to bring or wear something red...good idea me thinks!

...other stuff I bought...

Some more stuff to squash into my cupboard (and suitcase when we leave). I should really stop buying all this stuff seeing that I will probably not be able to take so much over and would much rather buy awesome stuff there. But I couln't help myself,  I mean who wouldn't want these things in their cupboard?

Shoes from Mr Price, earrings from a cute shop in the new section of Woodlands Mall, Pretoria

...and then some scarves...

Also, to prepare myself for the cold, I bought some new pretty scarves. You never know how many of these you might need to keep warm!

The colourful flower one is from Mr P and the black and white one from Jay Jays.

...oh how I have missed you blog...

Sorry about the lack in posting but things have been a bit crazy in our lives at the moment. We found out last week Monday that we are definitely moving to Munich. We've been wanting to go for a while, but everything was confirmed on Monday as Wollie received his contract. So its has been 2 weeks of figuring out what visas to get, resigning, getting documentation and on top of everything its been a crazy week at work....

But it's super exciting and to celebrate this awesome move I just had to buy new shoes! Munich, get ready, cause these boots are made for walking!
